Based off the paper taxidermy artwork of the same name, this limited-edition linocut print was created in honor of the grey wolves of Yellowstone National Park, to raise awareness of how they are once again being hunted after one hundred years of protected status. An integral species in the park, the wolves keep the elk population at healthy numbers, and the ecosystem stable. 
Counterweight was printed on recycled cotton watercolor paper with water-based ink, and is framed in a customized wooden shadowbox frame with archival mounting. Exterior of frame measures 12 1/4" x 15 1/4".
